Born and raised in Bayonne, she resided there until settling in Toms River 23 years ago.
Although Dorothy was a hair stylist by profession, she had a passion for ceramics. She enjoyed this hobby with family and friends in her studio. Dorothy also loved to knit and spend time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, Robert; her children: Robert Sroczynski and David Sroczynski and his wife Tina; her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Sroczynski; her grandchildren: Lauren, Allie, Marisa, and David; her sister, Rita Aune; and her brother, Frank Jakubowski.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Luke RC Church at a later date under the direction of Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River.
