Edward F. McCormack, 89, of Toms River passed away on September 18th, 2013 at Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care in Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Hicksville, NY prior to moving to Toms River in 1989. He was a World War II Army Veteran serving from 1942 to 1946. Edward was a member of the VFW Post 10185 in Berkeley Township. Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years Jeannette, children Kevin and wife Deborah McCormack of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, Kathleen and husband Steven Bocskor of Millersville, MD, Kenneth and wife Virginia McCormack of Jupiter, FL and Keith and wife Margaret McCormack of Smithtown, NY and grandchildren Shannon, Erin, Brendan, Timothy, Brian, Christopher, Jacqueline and Victoria. Visitation will be Friday September 20th, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday September 21st, 2013 at 10am at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
