Edward Nieves, 51, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at his home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Edward lived in Kearny, NJ, before moving to Toms River 10 years ago. He worked as a painter for many years.
Edward was predeceased by his mother Lidovina Nieves. He is survived by his father Gilbert Nieves, Sr. of Toms River three brothers, Gilbert Nieves, Jr. of Rutherford, NJ, Ruben and his late wife Patricia Acosta of Rutherford, NJ; Alabert Acosta of Clifton, NJ; and his sister Yolanda and her husband Willian Cintron of North Arlington, NJ.
Visiting hours are being held on Saturday January 28, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery 56 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
