Edward P. Vecchio

Edward P. Vecchio, 83, of Toms River, NJ ( formerly of Glen Rock, NJ ) passed away peacefully, on Nov. 2, 2017, while surrounded by his family. He worked as an engineer in the automation and controls industry for many years prior to his retirement. Edward was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to his late wife Isabell. Edward was the loving son of the late Francesco and Loretta Vecchio, and the dear brother to the late Joseph, Frank, Theresa and Francis. He was a devoted father to his son Edward and wife Faye Vecchio and to his daughter Christie and husband William Robinson and beloved Papa to Lauren and Olivia Robinson.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday Nov. 6, 2017 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Nov. 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Interment will be at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ.
