Elaine M Leslie

Elaine M. Leslie 86 of Toms River, NJ passed away Saturday July 16th, 2011 at Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care. Born in Queens, NY she resided in Oceanside, NY and Howard Beach, NY prior to moving to Toms River 25 years ago. She was a member, volunteer and employee of the Toms River Chamber of Commerce for many years. She also belonged to The United States Navy League, Battleship NJ Association, and Toms River Methodist Church. Predeceased by her parents Wesley and Margaret Powell (Tannhouser) and husband John R. Leslie, Jr. in 2002. Surviving are her son Jack R. and wife Kathleen Leslie of Bay Shore, NY; and grandchildren John R. and wife Rebecca Leslie of Coram, NY; Brian Leslie of Farmingville, NY; Amy Leslie of Farmingville, NY and Katelynn Yanes of Bay Shore, NY. Visitation will be Wednesday July 20th, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will be 10am Thursday July 21st, 2011 at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Genola Rural Cemetery, East Northport, NY.
