
Estelle C. Quail, 86, of Toms River passed away Saturday December 31st, 2011 at Holiday Care Center in Toms River. Born in Freeland, PA she resided in Green Brook, NJ and Clermont, FL prior to moving to Toms River in 2005. She was employed during World War II as a lathe operator making guns for warships and later as an industrial engineer for 3M Corporation. She married Joseph E. Quail on September 25th, 1949 and received an RN degree in 1983 from Raritan Valley College. She went on to work for Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center as an Oncology Nurse Clinician for 18 years and received the Clinical Excellence in Professional Nursing Award in 1989. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Joseph E.; daughters Drs. Tracey and husband Jack Davidoff of Pittsford, NY and Jacqueline Bowman of West Windsor, NJ; grandchildren Leslie, Irene and Madeline, Charles H. Jr., Scott and Daniel and 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be offered at 2pm on Tuesday January 3rd, 2012 at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation at 120 Albany Street New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
