Evelyn Salas, 63, of Toms River passed away on Thursday November 28th, 2013 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in San Juan, PR, she resided in Astoria, NY prior to moving to Toms River in 1999. Evelyn was an avid reader and was self-employed as a Court Reporter. She was predeceased by her father Luis Alberto Sala. Surviving are her mother Myra Fernandez of Toms River, loving sister Yolanda and husband Nick Primiano of Hilton Head, SC, brother Jimmy Salas of Manahawkin, NJ, sister Nilda Torres of Toms River, NJ, nephew Nick Jr. and wife Debbie Primiano and great nieces Hannah and Madelyn. Visitation will be Sunday December 1st, 2013 from 3-8pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered at 7:30pm during visitation.
