Frank Stochlinski, 74, passed away on June 21, 2026. Born on July 3, 1951, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Frank was the son of the late Karol and Sarah Stochlinski. He had lived in Union before moving to Toms River in 2016, and was a resident of Manchester Township, New Jersey.
For 47 years, Frank built a remarkable career with Motion Industries in Industrial Sales, a testament to his steady work ethic and the pride he took in providing for those he loved. He retired in 2016, yet retirement did not dim his sense of purpose. Frank went on to assist many local funeral homes, offering dependable help and quiet kindness, and he will be greatly missed throughout the funeral home community.
Frank also lived his faith and service through longstanding membership in the Knights of Columbus. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus—first in Union, NJ Local 4504 for 30 years, and then in Toms River Local 4969 for the past 10 years—giving generously of his time and presence to the communities he served.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Pat (Torsiello); his son Steven and Steven’s wife Katie; his two grandsons, Benjamin and Nathaniel, with whom Frank especially loved spending time; and his brother Joseph Stochlinski and Joseph’s wife Diane. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Henn.
In his younger years, Frank enjoyed coming down to Ocean Gate and going to the beach and boardwalk—simple pleasures that stayed close to his heart. In more recent years, he remained actively engaged in his community as a member of the Landscape Committee in River Pointe, Manchester, New Jersey. Frank valued the friendships he made in the clubhouse and often went out to eat with his buddies, as well as sharing dinners with their wives down at Caesars in Atlantic City—moments of companionship that reflected the warmth he brought to others.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 2–4 PM & 7–9 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 10 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River.
