Born in 1932 in Jersey City NJ, George was a lifelong resident until he moved to Toms River, NJ in 1995.
He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. George was a dedicated parishioner at St. Mary’s (Byzantine Catholic) Church in Jersey City.
His greatest joys in life were his family, crabbing, and pinochle.
George was predeceased by his loving parents George and Julia Ripnyak, his daughter Elizabeth Anne (Becky), and his son Paul Thomas (Paulie). He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Mary Louise nee Eggers, daughter Mary Lou Bruno and husband Jerry, his sons George Ripnick and wife Beaux, and Frank Ripnyak and wife Ann Marie, as well as five Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday from 4-7 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 9 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
