We loved visiting Gloria @ NHC. Little Avis used to pull me to her door so he could visit. He knew Gloria would drop whatever she was doing to feed him, talk to him, and love him. He LOVED giving her French kisses. I'd tease her about when she was last French kissed by a male. We'd laugh! Gloria couldn't ask for a better daughter as Carolyn visited often and helped to assure her mom had whatever she needed and that she attended special events. One of those events was Avis' annual birthday party in October. Gloria never missed this celebration. NHC will not be the same w/o Gloria and Carolyn. Please find comfort in knowing she is another angel in Heaven, watching over those she loves.

It was such an honor to have met Gloria and spent time with her at NHC. She was such a lovely lady. Never saw her without a smile on her face and was never happier than when company was coming! Great picture .. so her! Carolyn took such good care of her. I am thankful that her suffering is over and she is safely home with her God. May God comfort you all as you move forward.
