Gloria J. Gardner, 86, of Toms River passed away November 3rd, 2011 at Holiday Care Center, Toms River. Born in Newark, NJ; she resided in Bloomfield NJ & Millville NJ; prior to moving to Toms River. She worked for Prudential Life Insurance for many years doing accounting and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, cruises and boating on Barnegat bay. She was predeceased by her husband George Gardner in 1995. Surviving are her step-son George L. and wife Mary of Toms River; step-daughter Marilyn and husband Gunther Dade of Morris Plains; 3 step-granddaughters Lisa and husband Daryl Jenkins of Succasunna, NJ, Linda and husband Frank Storey of Easton, PA and Ashley S. Koch of Toms River; 1 step great-granddaughter, Melissa Storey of PA, and 2 step great-grandsons, Christopher Jenkins of Succasunna, NJ and Kevin Storey of PA. Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ is in charge of arrangements. Services will be private.
