Grace Edley

Grace Edley, a beloved, generous, compassionate, kind-hearted, and thoughtful individual, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on May 24, 1954, in Perth Amboy, NJ, Grace grew up in Woodbridge and Jamesburg, NJ. She spent 30 years in Roanoke, VA, before residing in Whiting, NJ, for the past five years.

Grace was a professional shopper, a career she pursued with dedication and enthusiasm. She was well-known for her love of playing bingo with her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Grace was predeceased by her husband James C. Edley in 1989 and her brother Warren Blodgett in 2009 and is survived by her loving children; Sherry Petersen and her husband Don, James Edley and his partner Amy, her three sisters, Carolyn Siecinski, Sue Zelicskovics and her husband Mike, Daniel Blodgett and Linda Baylis and her husband George. Also surviving are her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Grace will be tremendously missed by all who knew her, especially her family and close friends.

A visitation for Grace will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2025, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. Cremation will be private.
