

January 2, 2022. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, devoted husband
and trusted friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Harry is
predeceased by his adoring wife, Carol (Kisielewski) Falcone, and his brothers,
Robert Falcone (JoAnne) and Leonard Falcone (Catherine). He is survived by his
two children, Karen Eng (Bill) and Kenneth Falcone (Cathy Mortensen), three
grandchildren, Reece Eng, Nicholas Eng and Taylor Eng, and his siblings,
Dorothy O’Dea, Maryanne Taglione (Robert), Tina Mirabella (Mario), Thomas
Finnerty (Vivian) and Joseph Finnerty. He is also survived by many family
members, friends, and neighbors who have brought love and support to him and
his family at every turn.
Harry was born on March 4, 1939 in New York, NY to his parents, Harry Falcone
and Dorothy Carroll. He spent much of his life growing up with his mother in
Jersey City, NJ and with his father and step-mother, Mary Falcone, in Queens,
NY. Harry graduated from Snyder High School in Jersey City in 1956 and served
in the Marine Corps July 1956-July 1958, where he was stationed in Camp
Lejeun, NC. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Carol, and raised his family in
Colonia, NJ before later moving to Toms River. Harry worked for Metropolitan
Life Insurance Company and thereafter, the USPS, where he retired in 1991.
Harry was a devout Christian and avid reader of The Bible, having had a passion
for Christ. He believed that Family is at the center of God's plan for the
happiness and progress of His children. Harry always remembered his loved
ones, sending cards for every occasion. Harry also enjoyed solving Sudoku
puzzles, writing his “book of names,” and fishing on and off his boat, “Carol
Ann.”
Harry’s infectious sense of humor was known to all who met him. He had a
penchant for lightening the mood in any situation with his quick wit and loved to
make people laugh through his writings, practical jokes, magic tricks and
sarcasm.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, January 10, 2022 from
3-7 PM at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road in Toms River, NJ. Face
masks are required. On Tuesday, January 11, 2022, a blessing will be held at
Quinn Hopping Funeral Home at 11:30 AM. Committal will follow at 2 PM at
Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350
Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ.
