Harry J. Kent, 96, of Toms River, passed away at his home on Thursday October 9, 2014. Born in Orange, NJ, he lived there and in Linden before moving to Toms River in 1988. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp having served in WW II. After a long career in the milk industry, he retired from the NJ Dept. of Probation in 1980. He was a member of the VFW Post 10185.
Harry was predeceased by his brother John Kent. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Catherine; his son, Robert J Kent, his grandchildren, Erika Benson, Elliot Kent and Mark Frazer; ; his great granddaughter, Vera Peach and his sister-in-law Eleanor Kent. He is slao survived by several nieces and nephews.
