Helen Farkas, 93, of Toms River passed away Monday April 16th, 2012 at Brandywine Assisted Living in Toms River. Born and raised in Garfield, NJ, she resided in Waretown for 10 years prior to moving to Toms River in 1987. She was a member of the Ladies Guard of Waretown, Lacey Elks, Silver Ridge First Aid Squad Auxiliary, Silver Ridge Ladies Club and VFW Ladies Auxiliary 9503 of Bayville. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1998, brothers George, Michael, and John, and sisters Mary, Julia, and Anna. Surviving are her brother William Seventko of Saddle Brook and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday April 19 from 10-11am at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered at 11am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Healthcare Services of Edison, NJ.
