Isabella Facchini

Born January 18, 1928 in Molfetta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Marta de Ceglia Cirillo. She came to the United States in 1948 and lived in Hoboken, Weehawken, and Toms River before moving to Voorhees, NJ.

Isabella married Peter Facchini February 26, 1949 and together they shared 53 beautiful years until his passing October 28, 2002. She worked as a seamstress in a dress and coat factory for many years. She was an excellent cook, a great swimmer, loved spending days at the beach, especially being in the water. She was a former communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church.

Isabella is survived by her son Paschal “Pat” and his wife Marilyn Facchini; her daughter Margaret “Maggie” Altomare and her husband Donato; her grandchildren Peter and Christine Facchini, John and Cristina Facchini, Anthony Facchini, Kristin and Frank Bigwood and Isabel Altomare; her great grandchildren Adriana, Sophia, Rocco, Isabella and Michael Veit, Gianna Fachini, Cianna Bigwood, and Luca Bigwood; great-great grandchildren John and Michael. She also is survived by her brother Nicola Cirillo and was predeceased by 7 siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08757 at 12 pm on Wednesday May 6, 2026. Entombment will be at Ocean County Memorial Park 1722 Silverton Road Toms River, NJ 08753.
