

Born in New York City, he resided in Brooklyn and Staten Island before settling in the Silver Ridge Community of Berkeley 25 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he worked as truck driver, most recently for Advanced Window Systems in Saddle Brook, NJ. Jack was an active member in the First Assembly of God church in Toms River, where he served as an usher. He also was a very compassionate and giving person, who often helped other members of the community. Jack's empathy and caring nature was always displayed in the love had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A veteran of the US Army, Jack honorably served our country from 1953-1955. He received a Korean Service Medal and was responsible for escorting his commanding officers.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Jennie; and his sister, Mary.
Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Jennie; his son, James and his wife Andrea; his daughter, Lorraine Russo and her husband Mike; his grandchildren: James and his wife Fiore, Joey, Nicole, Michael, Ryan; his great-granddaughter, Mia; and his sister, Anna Mittola.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1pm at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, under the direction of Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River.
