Beth McPeak, Union High School Band, class of '76.  I was greatly grieved to learn just very recently of Mr Calabrese's death. His gift to me was not only music it was learning how to strive for the best I had to give. Though his time at UHS  was short, he left an indelible memory for me, the best teacher I ever had. I'm quite sure you have had many people tell you that, he was charismatic seems the best way to put it, he made you want to give it your all.  We laughed many times, he was quick to laugh, at us and himself.   Please accept my sincere condolences to you all, he was a great man
