Center.
Our family was not expecting for Jamie’s life to end so soon. We are all beyond
devastated by this huge loss and she will be forever missed. Jamie was such a
charismatic soul and had the ability to light up every room with her smile. Her sense
of humor, and quick wit could make any of the most trying times into your very best
memories.
Jamie loved nature. Nothing made her happier than being free, and experiencing
nature's elements in their rawest form. Which ironically, was such a stark contrast to
Jamie’s other beloved hobby of shutting the curtains to keep the world out and enjoy
whatever was streaming on TV.
The house was always just a little bit warmer with Jamie in it. She was always one
small, seemingly insignificant moment away from making you laugh. We are all
beyond grateful to have been blessed with the precious time we have had with her.
Time has never felt so short. While the world has never seemed darker, the light that
Jamie left in all of us will never go out.
Jamie was predeceased by her parents James and Catherine MacMillan and her two sisters Elaine and
Karen. She is survived by her twin Kimberly MacMillan and older sister Donna Thompson and her nieces
Amaya, Cassidy, Chelsea, and Ashley.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 1, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping
Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Condolences and memories may be shared with the
