Jean T. Breitkreutz

Jean T. Breitkreutz, 98, passed away on Sunday February 1, 2026 at her home. Born in Rockaway Beach, NY Jean lived in NY for many years before moving to Toms River in 1985. She retired as a supervisor of the Telephone Company in 1980 after more than 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RCC.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Harland Breitkreutz in 2013. She is survived by her son Robert Breitkreutz and his wife Rosemarie and her son Thomas Breitkreutz. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robert, Renee (Robert), Joseph (Nicole) and her great grandchildren, Robert, Elaina, Dylan and Richard.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday February 5, 2026 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday February 6, 2026 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08755. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park 1722 Silverton Rd. Toms River, NJ 08753.
