Joan DeGennaro, 83, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday March 31, 2019 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Hoboken, NJ she lived in Weehawken, NJ for many years before moving to Holiday City at Berkeley 13 years ago.
Joan was predeceased by her granddaughter, Dana Marie Frawley and son-in-law, Kenneth Heaney. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Dominick DeGennaro, Sr.; her daughter, Mary Frawley and her husband Thomas of Forked River, NJ, her daughter Joann Heaney of Forked River, NJ; her son, Dominick DeGennaro, Jr. and his wife Wendy of Teaneck, NJ; and also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday April 4, 2019 from 1 to 4 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM.
