Joan K. Gregor

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Mom, Grandmom and Great, Joan. Joan passed peacefully on September 12, 2026 to rejoin her Frankie who predeceased her 8 years ago. Joan married the love of her life, Frank in 1966 and the two built a beautiful life leaving a legacy of fabulous, fun memories for everyone who knew them. Their relationship is one we all look up to and her family finds peace, knowing they are together again sharing love and laughter.

Born and raised in Perth Amboy, Joan attended Perth Amboy High School and Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing. Joan was employed by Perth Amboy Hospital (now Raritan Bay Medical Center) as an RN for over 30 years.

Her love of sharing holidays, birthdays, and vacations with her family will always bring cherished memories and traditions to our homes. Anyone who knows Joan and Frank, knows that there will never be a shortage of photos commemorating these times together.

Joan is predeceased by her loving husband, Frank, her parents, John and Dorothy Tallarom and many beloved family members.

Joan is survived by her daughter Karen and son-in-law Bill, her Granddaughters Jessica Quartuccio and Nicole Sasso, along with Nicole’s husband Michael and her Great Grandsons Santino and Dominic Sasso.

***Private services for Joan will be held at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home followed by burial at Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
