Joan A. Motyka, 71, of Toms River passed away on Thursday May 1st, 2014 at the Arbors Care Center. Born in Newark, she resided in Irvington and Livingston prior to moving to Toms River in 2008. She worked for the Shriners Temple in Livingston for many years. Surviving are her husband of 48 years Joseph, daughter Joy Motyka of Montana, son Joseph and wife Susan Motyka of Boonton, NJ, grandson Nigel and brother Samuel “Butch” and wife Phyllis Demeo of Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday May 3rd, 2014 from 2-5pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered at 3:45pm during visitation.
