Joanna E. Orlando passed away on June 7, 2024, at Community Hospital in Toms River, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ to the late Philip and Antionette Lippi, Joanna lived and raised her family in Colonia, NJ, prior to moving to Toms River, NJ upon her retirement.
Joanna enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. She spent many hours reading cooking books and watching the cooking network. She could make a feast out for very little, always with lots of love. Joanna also enjoyed fine dining, wine and traveling, especially to Florida where she spent many years walking the Siesta Key beach with her husband Domenick.
Joanna is predeceased by her beloved grandson Joseph Del Buono and is survived by her husband of 65 years, Domenick, her brother Philip and Phyliss Lippi, her children Laura Orlando, Philip and Lisa Orlando and Gina and Renee Hernandez. Also surviving are her two grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Gina and James Thompson, Angelo Del Buono, Jayce and Jaelyn Thompson.
