Born in Teaneck, he resided in Atlantic Highlands before settling in Keansburg in 1994.
Prior to retiring, he was an regulator for the Monmouth County Department of Weights and Measures, where he worked for his entire career. A veteran of the US Air Force, John honorably served our country from 1960-1963. John loved the outdoors, but especially loved fishing and camping. He enjoyed working on cars and loved a good fixer-upper. He was also very proud of being a friend of Bill's for 27 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mildred; his brothers, Tommy and Jimmy; and his sister, Suzie.
Surviving are his daughters: Heather Reynolds, Amie Lepley, Andrea Kassimatis, and Cassandra Talbot; nine grandchildren: Angelica, Ethan, David, Bennett, Collin, Alexander, Lillian, Alysia, and Donovan; and former wife, Madeline Bennett.
An interment of his cremated remains will be held at a later date at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. For more information, or to post a tribute online, please visit www.quinn-hoppingfh.com.
