John M. D'Elia

John M. D'Elia, 82, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at his home. Born in Newark to the late John and Margaret D'Elia he had lived in Colonia, Beachwood and Ocean Grove before moving to Toms River 24 years ago. He was employed by Sea Breeze Ford, Wall, NJ for 30 years. He proudly served his country in the US Army 82nd Airborne as a Paratrooper in Vietnam.

John enjoyed reading, baseball, boxing and was a master storyteller and jokester. Most importantly John loved spending time with family and friends.

John was predeceased by his son John M. D'Elia and his daughter Dawn M. Martincheck and is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Lorraine and his children; Nicholas Blake D'Elia, Stanley Cutts and Brian Cutts. Also surviving are his nine grandchildren; Theresa, Austin, Haley, Lana, Zachary, Piper, Stanley, Savannah and Victoria, his great granddaughter Autumn, his brother Duane D'Elia and his sister Dale D'Elia.

Cremation will be private and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
