John J. Denaro, 83, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Monday January 6, 2020 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Madison, NJ, John lived in Kinnelon, NJ for 40 years before moving to Toms River 12 years ago. John was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a self-employed car salesman for over 40 years retiring in 2007. He was a volunteer for both the Holiday City Berkeley and Whiting First Aid Squads.

John was predeceased by his daughter Stephanie, his grandson CJ and granddaughter Ashley. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Jean Armbruster Denaro; his daughter Yvonne Denaro; two sons, John Jay Denaro and his wife Caroline and James Denaro and his wife Andrea; his brother Russ Denaro and his grandchildren Tony, Jessi, Geno and Angelina.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday January 11, 2020 from 2-4 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 12, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ 07436. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday January 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery 15 Kakeout Road Butler, NJ 07046.
