John was preceded in death by his son, James, sister, Linda, and brother, Robert.
He is survived by his wife, Cherie, daughter, LuAnn, and son, Brian, as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on Thursday January 5 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service with Military Honors will begin at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Shriner’s or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
