

Jose Maria Quinones, 91, of Toms River passed away suddenly at home on Monday, April 7. Born in Loiza, Puerto Rico, he lived in Milwaukee, WI and then retiring to Puerto Rico before moving to Toms River 15years ago.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He then worked at Longview Fiber Company in Milwaukee, WI before retiring in the late 80's. .
Jose was a loving, kind, and gentle father and husband. He was the favorite amongst his nieces and nephews. He touched the hearts of everyone he met.
He loved reading, playing baseball, billiards, and watching his favorite team the Milwaukee Brewers!

Mr. Quinones is survived by Margarita, his beloved wife of 56 years. Also surviving are his cherished daughters and sons-in-law, Maria Quinones-Caputo and her husband John of Colts Neck and Beatrice Quinones-Liagouris and her husband Constantine of Cliffside Park; and two adored grandchildren, Maya and Lucas Caputo.
Cremation and graveside service will be private at Ocean County Memorial Park, 280 Wells Mills Rd., Waretown.
