Judith was born November 16, 1950 in Plainfield NJ. She spent her childhood and teenage years on Whittier Avenue in Dunellen with her father Henry, mother Helen and her eight brothers and sisters. On June 23, 1973 she married the love of her life, Allen Magory. In December of 1974, they moved to Lafayette Avenue in Toms River. In 1982 they had their first and only son, Allen. They remained on Lafayette Avenue until 2015, when they moved to Manahawkin. There, Judith, Allen, son Allen and his wife Devin lived together.
Judith waitressed for The Ground Round in Toms River for over 20 years after which she moved to Lowe’s Home Improvement for 12 years before retiring.
Judith first and foremost loved her family deeply. She truly understood the immense value of what family meant. She not only had an ear to listen but also a voice to guide. She wore her heart on her sleeve and always said what needed to be said. Judith was funny.. actually hilarious. When Judith and Al got together in a room, you knew what was coming. You couldn’t help but laugh until your belly hurt and repeatedly had to wipe the tears from your eyes. Their banter was classically hilarious and loved by all who were lucky enough to witness it. She loved to put a smile on your face. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with her husband, Patriots football (specifically Tom Brandy), cooking, playing cards, Judge Judy (Some would say they were the same) and she was the undisputed chairman and CEO of the homes DVR.
On March 23, 2020 Judith peacefully passed with her husband, son and daughter-in-law by her side.
She will continue to live through her husband Allen, her son Allen, daughter-in-law Devin, her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Pamela Lacallaide, their children, Robert Lacallaide, Jessica Caez, Pamela Lacallaide, her grandnieces, Katie and Olivia and her grandnephew Mason. Max, she loved you so much too. To all of her family and friend, please keep her in your heart. To her crew at the Golden Nugget... keep winning!
“We are family, as long as we stick together everything will be fine.”
