Karen Wesolowski-Myer, 63, passed away on August 22, 2026. Born on April 20, 1963, in Elizabeth, NJ, Karen built a life defined by steady devotion to others and a quiet, enduring generosity that reached family, friends, and all who had the good fortune to know her.
Karen lived in East Windsor for 30 years before settling in Beachwood, New Jersey six years ago. Throughout the years and across each place she called home, she remained a deeply beloved presence—someone whose care for others was never performative, but freely and selflessly given.
After high school, Karen worked as a beautician for a few years before beginning her long career at IEEE in Piscataway, NJ, where she dedicated more than 20 years in Human Resources. In her work, as in her life, she brought a steady kindness and a sincere concern for people that left a lasting impression.
Karen is survived by her loving son, Christopher Myer; her mother, Madeline Wesolowski; and her brother, Greg Wesolowski. She was predeceased by her father, Richard Wesolowski, in 2025, and her sister, Robin Lynn Lechleiter, in 2017. Karen is also survived by her best friend, Jayne.
Karen found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures: going to the beach, taking trips to Atlantic City to play the slots, and spending time with her family. Most of all, she cherished caring for her beloved furbabies, Ava and Jackie, who held a special place in her heart and home.
Karen was a kind-hearted soul who would do anything for anyone. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Good Shepherd American Reformed Church, Toms River on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 am.
