Margaret Tulino

Margaret Cardinale Tulino, 97, of Toms River, NJ passed away on February 24, 2022. Margaret was born and raised in Newark, NJ before moving to Totowa in 1952 then to Wayne in 1966. She was very active in raising her children. She was a Den Mother for the Totowa Cub Scouts and worked with the PAL of Totowa. She worked for the Wayne Board of Education for 25 years as a paraprofessional in the transportation department. She was a member of the Democratic Club of Totowa and the Wayne Elks Club and was past president of the Totowa Borough Women’s Auxiliary. After moving to Toms River in 2009 she became a member of the Holiday City South Women’s Club and the Bayville Club. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid baker and cook.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Roland Tulino Sr. and her sisters Grace Nicosia, Adele Cerrato and Dolores D’Arcangles. She is survived by a sister Joan DeVito of Belleville,NJ, her sons Roland Jr. (Marion) Tulino of Toms River, Richard Tulino of Toms River and her daughter Janice Dulmer of Apache Jct., AZ. and by her grandchildren, Scott (Allison) Tulino, Dennis (Maria) Dulmer, Daniel (Chereese) Tulino, and Jenna Tulino and Nicholas Tulino and her great grandchildren Michael, Lexy, Harmony-Marie, Dylan, Dennis III and Gabriella. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were held privately under the direction of Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or to Memorial Sloane Kettering Institute.
