Marge Tort

Marge Tort, 86, of Toms River, NJ passed away Sunday January 1st, 2012 at Hampton Ridge Nursing Home in Toms River. Born in Fuquay, North Carolina, she resided in Bloomfield and West Orange prior to moving to Toms River in 1987. Marge was employed as an office manager and medical assistant to Stanley J. Hollander, MD of Montclair, NJ before retiring to Toms River. She was active in the Silver Ridge Westerly Women’s Club, Garden Club and Glee Club. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years John Tort; daughter Diana Park; son John Tort, Jr. and his wife Fran; grandchildren Christine Mariniello; Tony Mariniello and his wife Hollie and Lauren Rainone and her husband Anthony and two great grandchildren Ella and Bishop Anthony Mariniello. Visitation will be Wednesday January 4th, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Funeral Mass will be Thursday January 5th, 2011 at 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
