Maria Hajduk

Maria Hajduk, 88, of Berkeley Township passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Holiday Care Center in Berkeley Township. Born on December 4, 1922 in the Ukraine to Teodor and Anna Fikanich, she lived in Clark before moving to Berkeley Township 24 years ago.

Mrs. Hajduk was a homemaker. She was also a communicant and volunteer for the St. Stephen Ukrainian Catholic Church in Toms River.

Mrs. Hajduk is survived by her husband, Michael Hajduk of Berkeley Township, her daughter, Mary Ann and her husband Jeremy Strauss of Edison, her son, Michael and his wife Althea Meade Hajduk of Charlotte, NC and her two grandsons, Michael and Nathan Hajduk.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 13th from 2 to 4pm and Monday, March 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am at the St. Stephen Ukrainian Catholic Church in Toms River. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the St. Stephen Ukrainian Church Building Fund, 1344 White Oak Bottom Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
