Mariann Lavin

Mariann Smith Lavin, age 85, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Friday June 29, 2018. Born in East Orange, NJ, she lived in Clifton for 43 years before moving to Holiday City South four years ago. Mariann was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church and former communicant of St. Paul's RC Church in Clifton.

Mariann was predeceased by her grandson Jason. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years John Lavin; three daughters, Nancy DeBianchi and her husband Henry of Toms River, Karen Lavin of Howell and Joanne Sheehan and her husband Rob of River Vale; four sons, Joseph Lavin and his wife Linda of Cape May, John Lavin and Jaci of Clifton, James Lavin and his wife Carol of Clifton and Robert Lavin of Toms River. ; seven grandchildren, Marissa Ann, James, Tyler, Robert, Ryan, Megan and Jack.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, NJ 08757. Entombment will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031. In liue of flowers please make donations in Mariann's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
