Obituary of Marilyn A. Ford
Manchester - MARILYN A. FORD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her daughters and friends. She was 93. Born in Summit, she resided in Point Pleasant Beach before settling in the Crestwood Village community of Whiting. Marilyn was also a snowbird and enjoyed traveling to Florida. She began her career as a supervisor for Dutchmaid Clothing and owned Jack Ford's Bar & Grill in Point Pleasant Beach. Marilyn retired from Bell Laboratories in 1989. Marilyn loved to craft and enjoyed making and selling t-shirts. An avid traveler, she visited places all over the world. More than anything, her family and friends were very important to her. She touched everyone's heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Ford; and her grandson, NJ State Trooper Marc Castellano 6397. Surviving are her partner of 31 years, Harvey Schramm; her daughters: Donna Setaro and her husband John, and Wendy Webster; her grandchildren: Nicholas & Jackie Castellano, Stephanie Castellano, Matthew Mason, Andrew Mason; her great-grandchildren: Julianna, Vincent, Gianna, Anthony, and Dominick Castellano, Lindsay, Kaiden, and Hunter Mason; her extended family: Cathy, Phil, and Adam Fisher, Jacqueline, Caroline, and James DeCunzo, John Ford, Regina, Madison, Destin, and Francisco Jimenez, John, Kelly, Kaylin, and Tommy Setaro, Peter Setaro, and Paul Serrina. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4-8PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. A service will be held in conjunction with the visitation at 7:30PM. A burial will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11AM at St. Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
