Marilyn Petrosino

Marilyn Petrosino, 92, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Friday July 4, 2025 at Complete Care at Bey Lea in Toms River. Born in Newark, NJ she lived in Neptune, NJ before moving to Toms River 56 years ago. She was a switchboard operator for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office for over 25 years. Marilyn was an avid churchgoer and found joy in prayer and peace in the promise of eternal life. She loved visits from her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband of 64 years Richard V. in 2019 and by her son Richard in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Marianne Rose (Charles); her daughter in law Kelly Petrosino (Bill); her grandchildren Richard Petrosino (Megan), Catherine Rose Callender (Christopher), Nicole Petrosino (Rodney) and Steven Petrosino (Kristen); her great grandchildren Jaxon, Landon, Madison and Colton.

Visiting hours will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08757.
