Mary Calabrese

Born in Hoboken, she resided in Carteret before settling in the Holiday Heights community of Berkeley 30 years ago.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Santino, in 2012; by her son, Santino, Jr. in 1993; and by her grandchildren: Kayleigh, Robert, Steven, and Michael in 1987.

Surviving are her children: Brenda Valentino and her husband Bob O'Brien; Wayne Calabrese and his wife Shani Brown; three grandchildren: Kayleigh Valentino, Michael Valentino, and Anthony Wayne Calabrese; her brother, Nicholas Glavocich and his wife, Catherine Glavocich; and her cousins, Tina Atherton and Fr. Edward Henning.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4-8PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
