Mary Louise Ripnick

Mary Louise Ripnick, 88, passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family. Born in 1933 and raised in Jersey City NJ, Mary was a lifelong resident until she moved to Toms River, NJ in 1995. She was a dedicated parishioner at St. Mary's (Byzantine Catholic) Church in Jersey City for many years. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished family gatherings, annual crabbing days and observing St Patrick’s Day.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband George, her daughter Elizabeth Anne (Becky), and her son Paul Thomas (Paulie); her beloved parents Frank Eggers (former Mayor of Jersey City) and Mary Louise McDonald, and her brother and sister Frank and Alice Eggers. She is survived by her daughter Mary Lou Bruno and husband Jerry, her sons George Ripnick and wife Beaux, Frank Ripnyak and wife Ann Marie, as well as five Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 9 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
