Matilda Vaccaro

Matilda M. Vaccaro, 90, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Thursday February 20, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Millie lived in Staten Island for over 30 years before moving to Toms River 35 years ago. She had worked as a cashier for many years at Arch Drugs in Staten Island. She was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. Millie loved vacationing in the islands and trips to Atlantic City with her late husband of 68 years Natale (2021) and especially loved spending time with her family who were her pride and joy.

Millie was predeceased by her husband Natale and by her grandson Michael Vaccaro and her son-in-law Thomas Connolly. She is survived by her son Robert Vaccaro and his wife Joanne of Freehold, NJ; her daughters Donna Connolly of Long Branch, NJ and Diane Santarpia and her husband Robert of Belle Mead, NJ. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren and one is on the way.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday February 23, 2025 from 12:00pm to 4:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church.
