Nicholas Jay Kekich, 76, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Nick was born in Texas City, TX and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Nick was a Captain with the US Army serving two tours in Vietnam as well as time served in the reserves. During his military career while stationed in NJ he met his future wife Colleen and settled in Lakewood NJ where he started his family. He later moved to Toms River in his retirement.
Nick was a beloved lifelong Arkansas Razorback fan, a beloved animal lover and a man to have been known for his awesome sense of humor.
Nick is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Colleen, his daughter Patricia Sheik and her husband Patrick and his adoring grandson Theodore.
