Paolo (Paul) Palmadesso

Paul was born in Grumo Appula, Bari, Italy. He came to the United States when he was just 14 years old in 1959. He was raised in Kenilworth and attended Dayton Regional High School in Springfield NJ.

After graduating high school he stayed in Kenilworth and worked for his brother Pete building houses.

In 1970 he met the love of his life Priscilla on the boardwalk of Seaside Heights, even though they lived in the same small town. He asked for her phone number and that's where it all began. By 1971 they were married and built a beautiful life together in Kenilworth.

A few years later he landed a job as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Garden State Parkway located in Holmdel NJ. They decided to move to Old Bridge where they built many friendships and raised their two beautiful daughters.

After a long and successful career with the parkway, Paul retired in 2002, he and Priscilla relocated to the Jersey Shore where they purchased their beautiful shore home in Toms River. A community where they made many friends and enjoyed their peaceful new chapter.

He loved relaxing by the firepit with friends & family, Barbecuing, watching his NY Giants play Sunday football & WWF Wrestling (Bruno Sammartino) his favorite. He loved to play 500 rummy & board games with his wife and family, loved to also play Bocce ball & Bowl.

Paul was a member of the local Moose lodge and an Usher for St.Kolbe Roman Catholic Church in Toms river.

Paul was a man of many few words, but every single one of them counted. He was known for his quick wit that brought so much laughter to many. To know him was to experience true kindness. He possessed a rare,loving nature and a warm-heartedness that made everyone around him feel special and valued. But perhaps his most enduring gift was his smile - a joyful, radiant expression that could brighten the darkest room and put anyone at ease.

He is predeceased by his beloved parents Francesco & Maria Palmadesso, his four sisters Antoinette, Maria, Anna & Giovanna and his brother Pietro "Peter" .

Paul leaves behind his beautiful & loving wife Priscilla of 55 years, his beloved daughters Maria & Madelyn and son-in-laws Bruce Cymanski & Steven Breese.

He is loved by his 4 grandchildren Jeremy, Briana (Faysal Zermane)

Colby (David Alacs) and Caden Chakan also his 2 precious great-granddaughters MaggieMay Zermane & Juniper Raine Cymanski

Lastly his beloved pets - Shenandoah, Takoda, Bruno, Mouse & Reginald.
