Raised in Newark, Patricia was a graduate of West Side High School. She later became a longtime resident of Verona, New Jersey, before moving to Toms River, New Jersey ten years ago. Throughout her life, she was known for a steady devotion to those she loved, meeting each day with quiet bravery, sincere honesty, and a kind-hearted spirit that made others feel cared for and seen.
Prior to retirement, Patricia was a well known restaurant manager for the Rainbow Diner in Caldwell, New Jersey. In that role, her loyalty and selfless dedication were evident in the way she carried responsibility with consistency and grace, earning the respect of many who came to know her through her work. She was loved by her patrons often seeing many customers visit just to have coffee with her.
In her personal time, Patricia was a crossword puzzle enthusiast, a simple pleasure that reflected her attentive nature and the calm determination she brought to the everyday moments of life.
Patricia is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Frank J. Segarra; her son, Christopher A. Segarra; her sister, Mary Siclari (Frank); her brother, Bruce Scrivo (Deana); and her brother-in-law, Tony DeVizio; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Florence Arcaro; and her father, Bruce Scrivo; and her sister, Kathleen DeVizio.
Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Her funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums, 62 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ.
