

Patrick Lipka, 88 of Berkeley Township died Thursday at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. He was born in Harrison and lived in Jersey City most of his life before moving to Berkeley Township 24 years ago.
Mr. Lipka was a sheet metal fabricator with Westinghouse for 40 years then ITT in Nutley for 5 years before retiring in 1987. He was a World War II Army-Air Corp veteran and a communicant of the St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Berkeley Township.
He was predeceased by his wife Ann in 2000. Surviving are his son Patrick and his wife Jeanette of Nashua, NH, 2 grandchildren Matthew & Allison and several nieces & nephews.
Visiting will be Sunday, September 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:30AM at the St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Berkeley Township. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Peter’s Prep School, 144 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302.
