Peter was married to the love of his life, Camille, with whom he celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage this past May. Together, they built a beautiful family that was, above all else, his greatest pride and joy.
He was the devoted father to his son, Peter, and daughters Denise, Dena, and Diana, father-in-law to Peter’s wife, Lisa, Denise’s husband, Will, and Dena’s husband, John. He was also the proud and loving Pop-Pop to Peter and Lisa‘s daughters Lily and Molly, Diana’s son, Brady, and Dena and John’s daughters Olivia and Gianna, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Peter proudly served his country in the United States Navy before dedicating more than 40 years of his life to his career as a pressman for The New York Times.
To know Peter was to know someone you would never forget. He had a larger-than-life personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a natural ability to make everyone around him laugh. Whether you knew him for a lifetime or met him only once, chances are he left you with a story to tell and a smile on your face.
A lifelong Frank Sinatra fan, he loved to sing and proudly considered himself an entertainer. Perhaps most special of all, he sang at each of his four children’s weddings, creating memories and moments that his family will cherish forever. Peter’s greatest love was always his family. Everything he did came back to the people he loved most. He cherished time spent together, took pride in the family he and Camille created, and filled their lives with moments they will never forget.
Peter leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured in years, but in the love he gave, the laughter he inspired, the songs he sang, and the countless lives he touched.
