

Pierre passed away on May 12, at home surrounded by his family. Pierre , courageously lost his battle of suffering for two years from Pulmonary Fibrosis, as a result of asbestos exposure during his time in the Marine Corp. Pierre was born in Plymouth, Pa. to William Lamereaux and Arlene( Latierre) Lamereaux, on April 16, 1936. His was also raised by his step-mother June Lamereaux. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp. and after serving four year was honorably discharged. Pierre moved to New Jersey many years ago . He worked tirelessly his whole life . He was unstoppable, always willing to help others. He was a proud Life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars serving as State Commander In 2002-2003, achieving the title of All-American State Commander. He was currently a member of Post 9503, District 12, Bayville New Jersey.Predeceased by parents , brother Ken and sister Sally. Pierre will be deeply missed by the Love of his life, his wife, Laurie. Also missing him are his daughter Melissa Marchetti and son-in-law Adam and his son William Lamereaux and daughter-in-law Elana. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Aidan, Zachary, Annalyse (his Princess) and Aireanna. He is also survived by his brother David and wife Sue, brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Barbara Mcgann and nieces Jacquelyn (Dan) Bernath and Allison (Mike)Gradzki and his Pal Dan Pestinger (Jacque) from Salina Kansas. Lastly, his bedside companion till the end, Duncan.
