Rip, was a great guy, loved by many, best husband and father in the world, hard worker and just an all around nice guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He had many jobs in his 70 years. He was a jack of all trades and a master of many; an auto mechanic, a meat cutter, contractor, plumber, electrician, maintenance mechanic, builder, handy man...just to mention a few. Rip could fix, repair or build anything. He was a "MacGyver " for sure. The go to guy!
His love of life, family and friends was amazing. He would do anything for his wife, family, friends and whoever needed help. He truly was a loving and caring guy. Not too many son-in-laws would move their mother-in-laws into his home, making it very comfortable for her and help care for her for over 2 years. But Rip did! He absolutely loved his pontoon, until he bought an RV. RVing and cruises were his top two favorite things. Besides playing cards and marbles with his friends, he loved going out to dinner with family and friends, and making wine. Driving to Florida was also top of his list. So many dear friends and family in Florida to visit. This was to be the year of the great adventure...driving the RV cross country. Apparently God had another plan.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy: son, Tony, brother-in-laws, Jimmy (Sue) of Toms River, Kevin (Lynda) of Ortley Beach, brother Michael (Denise), nephew Michael of Delaware.
Predeceased by his parents, Sal and Lucy Ragazzo, and his mother-in-law, Peggy Amatel.
A donation in his name can be made to The Lustgarten Foundation, Pancreatic Cancer Research or the ASPCA- We all knew how much Rip loved animals.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Quinn-HoppingFH.com for the Ragazzo family.
