Grandpa, man how many memories a kid can have in 30 years is amazing. We had to share the fishing trip........Rich, Richie and Roy go fishing one Saturday, years ago.  This was when Jeanette and Rich were living in Keansburg.   So, off they went.......and supposed to be in calm waters.......shortly into the fishing,  Roy got a little green around the gills.....Rich, very calmly told the guys, they can go upstream, or another way, not sure which way they went, but after Roy's  overboard situation, they caught alot of fish!  Meanwhile the ladies, Jeanette, Katie and Beth are sitting on the beach........What fog there was that day! We couldn't even see the ocean.......but   we talked  away the hours and had fun.  RIP Rich. You were a kind,  soft spoken, caring person.  Thank you for the memories and you will always be missed.  With our love and sympathy, Roy and Beth 

I have so many fond memories of you. I always loved to watch you cook. I learned so many  recipes and  cooking techniques watching you in the kitchen. You will be deeply missed. RIP 

To my sweet, loving grandpa - I love you so much and although I’m sad to see you go, I’m glad you aren’t sick and in pain. I hope you’re enjoying your time with your friends, my uncles and your parents. Love you to the moon and back forever.  I’m glad to have had 27 years with you and will cherish the memories for the rest of my life.

Sorry Jake and I weren't able to go fishing with you like planned. 
There are many memories I have of you. I remember being afraid of you, but I also remember your laugh and your sweet side too. 
I wish I could be there with the family to help them through this time.

Richie was  our friend from the time we met 17 years ago.  We had some fun times together.  He showed us all the great places to buy fish but the one time I remember most was when he took us to get fried fish  on a bun.  We all sat by the water and ate the greatest fried fish.  We had alot of fun together and we will miss him, however he will always be  in our hearts and prayers..

Grandpa,

I will always remember when you lived in Keansburg, and Grandma would let me sit in your chair. You would come in, never say a word, and tell Grandma that's my Grandson let him sit there. I will always remember watching the Yankee games, and saying they needed to get rid of the coaches. Giving you huge hug when you saw me off on my first Navy cruise and said you wanted to go. I will keep those moments forever. Love you RIP.

I have such fond memories of the many visits and outings that included Richie and the Guido family while I was growing up. He was kind and gentle and always comfortable to be around. 
While it is always difficult when a loved is lost, the Guido family will always have the memories and stories of a long and well lived life and the example of good character to pass along.

To Jeanette and Family,

Our sincere condolences in the passing of Rich.  We are heartbroken, but have so many fond memories of our times together that will last a lifetime.  The laughs, the stories, .....oh and the food!  We will always remember the 4th of July at our house.......Rich sat way back in our yard, almost near the stream,  sitting on a small resin chair......lighting off fireworks, and having the time of his life.....and making fond memories for all of us......what a great time it was!
