Richard C. Olivier

Richard C. Olivier,72, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Charles and Sarah Olivier, Richard had lived in Union Beach and Middletown until retiring to Toms River in 2018. Richard started his career as a Plumber for over 40 years, then opened his own business, Rich Olivier and Sons doing Home Improvements. He was a US Marine Veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War Time.

Richard loved being with his family. He enjoyed all things outdoors; Gardening, Golfing, Camping and just sitting outside relaxing in the sun. He was an avid NY Giants fan and enjoyed watching Nascar. To all who knew him he was everyone’s “Best Friend”.

Richard was predeceased by his sister Mary Sampson and his step sister Carol Rayborn and is survived by his crazy loving wife Marie of 40 years, his four children; Mark and his wife Julie, Danielle Metzger and her husband Matt, Shane and Ryan. Also surviving are Richards 6 grandchildren; RJ, Sarah, Peighton, Willow, Jillian and James, and his twin sister Patty Boldman and her husband Lenny and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 4:00-8:00 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule RD., Toms River, NJ. A Memorial Service will begin promptly at 7:15 PM.
