Born on February 6, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Robert graduated from North Bergen High School. In 1979, he moved to Toms River, where he raised his family and built a life defined by devotion and quiet strength.
Robert dedicated over 30 years of service as a Service Manager for Honda of Lakewood, earning the respect of coworkers and customers alike through his honest work ethic and thoughtful leadership. He retired in 2020, leaving behind a legacy of reliability and care for others.
He was married to the love of his life, Carol, for 55 years. Carol predeceased him in 2023. A devoted family man, Robert lived for his grandkids and treasured the everyday moments that brought everyone together. He was a diehard Yankee fan and found happiness in simple pleasures—going to diners, shopping, and attending shows. He especially enjoyed the music of The Duprees and Frankie Valli, and he held dear the memory of afternoon lunches shared with his late wife.
A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 4–6 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River.
